Angela Vick has called Citrus County home for more than 30 years. Prior to winning the public's majority vote as Clerk of the Circuit and Comptroller in the November 2012 election, Angela worked for the Citrus County Clerk's office for over 22 years, serving as Chief Deputy Clerk since 2007. January 2017 marked the commencement of Angela's 2nd term as clerk.
Education has always held a top slot on Angela's list of priorities. She achieved her BA in Business Administration with an Accounting Specialization from St. Leo University and also earned certification through the Government Finance Officers Association in Advanced Governmental Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting and Fraud Detection. Further, Angela trained with the Leadership Development Institute at the University of Florida and the Florida Institute of Government from Florida State University. Angela also completed 240 hours of extensive training in her first year as elected Clerk to receive the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers certification which focused on the statutory duties as clerk.
Angela serves on the following state wide committees for the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers: Legislative, Education, Chair of the New Clerk Academy, and Forerunners Courageous Committee; and state wide committees for the Florida Clerk of Court Operations Corporation; Performance Improvement and Efficiency (PIE), and Finance and Budget. Happily married to her husband Alan, Angela dedicates her free time to church, family, friends, and music.
